Shipping and Receiving Clerk in San Antonio, TX 78218

Pay:

$16/hr

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm  

• OT + weekends based on business needs

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices
• Unload, label, and store products in designated warehouse locations
• Prepare, pack, and ship outgoing orders accurately and efficiently
• Generate shipping labels and maintain shipping documentation
• Coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups and deliveries
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
• Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to supervisors
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience
• SAP experience is a plus
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification may be required)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
