Welder / Fitter in Schertz, TX 78154

Pay:

$19.85/hr

Schedule:

M-Thurs 6:00am - 4:30pm, Some required 8 hour Fridays

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
• Fit, position, align, and secure metal parts prior to welding
• Perform welding using processes such as MIG, TIG, and/or Stick (depending on project needs)
• Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for welding
• Inspect completed welds to ensure structural integrity and quality standards
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and metal fabrication
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminum
• Proficient with measuring tools and fabrication equipment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
