Converting Operator in San Antonio, TX 78218

Pay:

16/hr + Shift Differential

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 10pm – 6:30am

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Report equipment, safety, personnel, and IT problems to the appropriate department.
• Complete a daily lead report.
• Perform rework.
• Convert work-in-progress rolls into finished good rolls per the process order and quality and process specifications.
• Validate cleanliness and effectiveness of converting blades and machine prior to running material.
• Inspect material for defects. If defective material is found, identify the appropriate rework requirement, or scrap the defective material.
• Perform accurate issues, receipt, and scrap transactions; preserve batch traceability.
• Package the rolls with the appropriate packaging material.
• Label all rolls with the correct core and box label.
• Maintain a clean working environment, 5S.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Communication skills in English, at high school level or equivalent.
• Minimum six months of work experience in a manufacturing or warehousing setting.
