Electronic Cable Assembler in Plano, TX 75074
Pay:
$18/hr + DOE

Schedule:
Schedule: Monday- Friday 7am- 4pm
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble electronic cables, connectors, and wire harnesses according to work instructions, drawings, and schematics
- Cut, strip, crimp, solder, and terminate wires and cables
- Perform continuity and functional testing using basic test equipment
- Inspect finished assemblies for quality, accuracy, and workmanship
- Identify and report defects, shortages, or process issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow ESD, safety, and quality control procedures
- Meet production schedules and output requirements
- Document work performed as required
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Prefer a high school diploma or 2-4 years’ experience fabrication cable harness
- Must be able to obtain or be currently certified to: Workmanship Requirements for Electronics and Cable Assemblies in accordance with IPC J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A62
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Good hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Basic understanding of electronic components and cable assemblies
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Previous experience in cable assembly, wire harnessing, or electronics manufacturing
- Experience with crimping tools, soldering irons, and test equipment (e.g., multimeter)
- Familiarity with ESD-safe work environments
