Test Technician 2 in Plano, TX 75074

Pay:

$17/hr

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 7am to 3:30pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Perform functional testing on products returned from the field
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting product failures returned from Customer
• Familiar with electronic test equipment, software and hardware
• Run test scripts, capture failure data and metrics to report to customer.
• Self-managed able to operate multiple test sets
• Meet and exceed daily requirements to satisfy on-time delivery and customer schedules

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of work-related experience preferred
• Able to read, write and communicate in English
• Understand, execute from work instructions, travelers, schematics
• Working knowledge of electronic components and their application
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, schematics, BOM’s, etc.
• Experience using test tools in the electronics industry (meters, scopes, probes, test sets)
• Ability to use basic hand tools to assemble or disassemble customer equipment as needed
• Associate degree in applied science or equivalent demonstrated work experience
