Office Assistant in Lewisville, TX 75077
Pay:
$18-20/hr

Schedule:
Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to management, production, and sales teams
- Answer and direct phone calls; greet visitors and vendors
- Prepare, process, and file documents such as purchase orders, invoices, work orders, shipping paperwork, and compliance records
- Maintain accurate records for production schedules, inventory, and job tracking
- Assist with data entry in ERP, MRP, or inventory management systems
- Coordinate shipping and receiving documentation with logistics and warehouse staff
- Order office and plant supplies; track usage and vendor invoices
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and plant-related activities
- Support HR functions such as onboarding paperwork, timekeeping, and training records
- Ensure documents comply with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, scanning, copying, and email correspondence
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or administrative certification preferred
- 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or industrial settings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a plus
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
- Comfortable working around a production facility (PPE provided as required)
