Sheet Metal Operations Manager in Lewisville, TX 75077 

Salary:  

$70-80K

Schedule:

Monday- Friday 8am-5pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all manufacturing operations to meet production goals, quality standards, and delivery deadlines.
• Supervise and support department supervisors, production leads, and operational staff.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production efficiency, downtime, yield, and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams to resolve issues and maintain optimal plant performance.
• Assist in developing and managing departmental budgets and resource allocation.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and training to maintain adequate workforce coverage.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Drive a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must have previous sheet metal experience. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations management or production leadership.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and safety standards (OSHA).
• Proven leadership, communication, and team development skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and data-driven decision making.
• Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
