Sheet Metal Press Brake Operator in Lewisville, TX 75077 

Pay:   

$18-20/hr

Schedule:

Monday- Friday 8am-5pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Bend parts utilizing brake equipment, assuring quality and productivity,
• Spot-check quality of work by periodically using measuring equipment and visual inspection.
• May begin to learn set-up procedures on simple to moderately complex parts.
• Keep up with traveler and paperwork flow by logging number of parts run to specification.
• Responsible to know and enforce all safety rules and regulations.
• Provide suggestions for improvement to safety and quality as they are identified.
• Follow all safety rules and remain safety conscious at all times.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma, Equivalency (GED), or equivalent work experience required.
• Must have experience with sheet metal.
• Must have 2 or more years’ experience as brake press operator required; 
• Set Up and Operating Amada, Accupress, LVD experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow all instructions given.
• Fill out required paperwork.
• Familiarity with reading / interpreting blueprints.
• Advanced knowledge of brake press operations.
• Familiarity with the use dial calipers, square and various measuring equipment.
