Powder Coater in Georgetown, TX 78626

Pay:

$17/hr + DOE

Schedule:

Friday-Sunday 6am-6pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Prepare parts for coating (cleaning, masking, sandblasting, or chemical pretreatment)
• Operate powder coating spray guns and related equipment
• Apply powder evenly and according to specifications
• Load and unload parts onto racks or conveyor systems
• Monitor curing ovens to ensure proper temperature and cycle times
• Inspect finished products for quality, thickness, and defects
• Perform touch-ups and rework as needed
• Maintain and clean powder coating equipment and work area
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Meet production quotas and deadlines

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of powder coating or industrial painting experience is required
• Experience working overnight or understanding of night shift is required.
• Knowledge of coating techniques and surface preparation
• Ability to read work orders and production schedules
• Basic understanding of quality control standards
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail
