3rd Shift Production Associate- Paint in Georgetown, TX 78626

Pay:

$17/hr

Schedule:

• 3^rd shift-Monday-Friday 10pm-6am

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Under minimal supervision, hangs fabricated parts on the conveyor paint line to engineering specifications, and prepares parts for painting. 
• Removes parts from the line once painted.
• Removes any debris from parts prior to hanging.
• Determines best practice hanging methods to maximize paint quality and load density.
• Inspects hooks for burn off lifecycles.
• Inspects and maintains equipment for compliance with safety requirements, including but not limited to all guarding.  Corrects any safety issues prior to operating the equipment.
• Inspects coated items for paint coverage and tests for coating thickness.  
• Performs some washer preventive maintenance tasks.
• Cleans and maintains work area and equipment.
• Assists and trains others to hang parts on the paint line.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school or equivalent education preferred.
• A minimum of one (1) year of related experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering specifications to properly select parts.
• Capable of using measuring devices as required for product inspection.
• Good mechanical skills including the use of hand tools.
• Good troubleshooting skills such that, after a reasonable training period, the employee will be able to evaluate operational problems of the equipment and know the proper corrective actions.
• Ability to read and understand equipment operating, maintenance, and troubleshooting manuals.
• Available and willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as production demand dictates.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
