Journeyman Electrician in Forney, TX 75206
Pay:
$35-40/hr

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7am-5pm
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced-level tasks in your trade (e.g., electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.).
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Install, repair, and maintain systems or structures according to specifications and safety regulations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to apprentices, offering training and supervision to help develop their skills.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Ensure that all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients to ensure project expectations are met.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
- Keep detailed records of work completed, including time logs and material used.
- Work with other trades to coordinate activities and ensure efficient project execution.
- Uphold the company’s commitment to safety by adhering to all safety policies and procedures
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Journeyman certification.
- 1-2 years of experience.
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to operate various tools and equipment safely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials.
