Quality Control Technician in Mesquite, TX  

Pay:

$25/hr 

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday 4pm- 4am

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials and components for quality, conformance to specifications, and compliance with safety standards.
• Utilize various measuring instruments and testing equipment to evaluate the quality of incoming goods.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of findings, non-conformities, and corrective actions taken.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and provide feedback on material quality.
• Support the Quality Control Manager in developing and implementing quality control procedures and protocols.
• Assist in the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance quality assurance practices.
• Participate in internal audits and assist with external audits as needed.
• Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory changes related to quality control

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or quality assurance training is a plus.
• Previous experience in quality control or inspection, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong understanding of quality control processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Proficient in using measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and testing equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
