Shielding Assembler II in Cedar Park, TX 78613  

Pay:

$18.50/hr

Schedule:

Monday- Friday 6am-2:30pm 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble shielding components in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Perform manual and machine assembly tasks, including soldering, wire crimping, and component installation.
• Inspect and test assembled products for quality control, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to complete assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions to guide the assembly process.
• Ensure all assembled products are properly shielded to meet electrical and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate production records and document any issues encountered during the assembly process.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols and best practices.
• Perform routine maintenance on assembly tools and equipment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any assembly-related issues.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or relevant training is a plus.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role, preferably in shielding or electronics, is desirable.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Basic knowledge of electrical components, shielding materials, and assembly techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and ability to document assembly processes accurately.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [25] pounds as needed.
