Pay:

$20/hr

Schedule:

Monday -Friday 8am-5pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Prepare wood surfaces by sanding, filling, and cleaning prior to finishing
• Apply stains, paints, sealers, lacquers, and topcoats using spray equipment or hand techniques
• Match custom colors and finishes according to samples and specifications
• Inspect finished products for defects, consistency, and quality standards
• Sand between coats and perform touch-ups as needed

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must have their own power tools
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years experience in wood finishing, cabinetry finishing, or related field
• Experience with spray equipment (HVLP, air-assisted, or conventional systems)
• Knowledge of stains, paints, sealers, and topcoat systems
• Strong color-matching ability
• Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship

Preferred:

• Experience in custom cabinetry or high-end residential work
• Knowledge of water-based and solvent-based finishing systems
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards
• Ability to read shop drawings and finish schedules
