Machine Operator- Press Brake in Georgetown, TX 78626
Pay:
$18-20/hr (DOE)

Schedule:
Monday-Friday
- 6am-2pm or
- 2pm-10pm
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and plates according to specific job orders.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machine settings, material requirements, and bend angles.
- Load and unload metal sheets, ensuring proper alignment and securing of materials on the machine.
- Adjust machine settings, tooling, and fixtures to achieve desired dimensions and tolerances.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning and lubrication, to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
- Inspect finished products for quality, measuring and testing parts to verify conformance with specifications.
- Follow all safety protocols, including wearing required protective gear and ensuring a safe work environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure consistent production.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and production metrics.
- Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in machining or manufacturing is a plus.
- Proven experience operating press brake machines or similar machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic math skills and ability to work with precision.
- Forklift certification and experience is a plus
