Pay:

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Establish, maintain and improve our gardens, lawn, trees etc.  including pest management.  
• Help implement, maintain, and trial sustainable, organic, and regenerative practices in the gardens, forests and the rest of the grounds. 
• Monitor plant, and soil health to identify potential issues with nutrient imbalances and pest/disease presence. 
• Operate and maintain landscape/gardening equipment. 
• Maintain irrigation systems.
• Implement dynamic soil health initiatives to build healthy biodiversity, soil organic matter/carbon. 
• Support ranch staff in development of ranch pastures. 
• Assist with facility maintenance and general farm and ranch operations as needed alongside the rest of the team. 

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in landscaping, agriculture, or related field. 
• Physical ability to work 8+ hours outdoors in all weather conditions. 
• Familiarity with irrigation systems and water management. 
• Good communication skills. 
• Basic knowledge of agricultural equipment operation and maintenance. 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols. 
• Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 
• Valid driver’s license. 
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks. 
• Ability to pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Continued education, or coursework in agronomy, horticulture, or a related agriculture discipline. 
• Experience and/or interest or knowledge with sustainable, organic, and/or regenerative practices. 
• Texas pesticide applicator license or willingness to obtain certification.
