Pay:

Schedule:
- A Shift: Sunday – Tuesday, every other Wednesday (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
- B Shift: Thursday – Saturday, every other Wednesday (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
- Mainstream Shift: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Job Summary:
As an Assembly Cabler, you will be responsible for the assembly and cabling of various IT equipment, including but not limited to servers, networking devices, and computer systems. The ideal candidate’s primary objective will be to ensure the efficient and accurate assembly of hardware components and the proper routing and connection of cables.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Kit Preparation: Gather and organize components, parts, and materials required for production orders or assembly projects according to provided specifications and instructions.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of kit components and materials. Monitor stock levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to relevant stakeholders.
- Quality Control: Inspect components and materials for quality and accuracy before including them in kits. Ensure that all items meet established standards and specifications.
- Kit Assembly: Assemble kits by packaging components and materials in containers or packages, labeling them appropriately, and preparing them for distribution to production areas or assembly stations.
- Documentation: Complete and maintain documentation related to kit preparation, including inventory logs, packing lists, and work orders. Ensure that all records are accurate and up to date.
- Ability to read cable labels (size 11 font).
- Ability to identify correct ports on IT equipment such as servers and switches.
- Ability to install cables in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Identify IT equipment and connect cables to port assignments accordingly.
- Install and route cables in IT equipment in an organized structure according to documentation.
- Communicates effectively and appropriately when dealing with other departments, co-workers, customers, etc.
- Must work well with little supervision, individually and in a team environment.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory management, kit preparation, or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately track and manage multiple components and materials simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using basic computer applications and inventory management software.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Ability to repeatedly lift >50lbs.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- General experience in a manufacturing/ warehouse environment.
- Working knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret written work instructions and drawings
