2nd Shift Machine Operator in Austin, TX 78753
Pay:
$17.70/hr

Schedule:
Monday to Thursday 3:30 pm to 1:30 am
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor machinery used in the production process.
- Perform regular quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company specifications and standards.
- Adjust machine settings as needed to optimize production and meet product specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines and equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions, report any significant issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate production records and log machine performance data.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Ensure proper storage of raw materials and finished products.
- Assist in training new operators on machine procedures and safety protocols.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of machine operating experience required
- MUST HAVE 3 YEARS OF RESIDENCY IN THE UNITED STATES
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications preferred).
- Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality control.
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
