Kitchen Ambassador in Austin, TX 78705

Pay: 

$18-19/hr

Schedule:

Monday- Friday 8am-5pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Greet and engage with guests, staff, or clients in a professional and friendly manner.
• Act as a liaison between the kitchen and dining area to ensure smooth communication and service flow.
• Assist with setting up service stations, ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Monitor food presentation and quality before it leaves the kitchen, ensuring consistency with standards.
• Support kitchen staff with basic prep, plating, or food running during peak hours as needed.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, concerns, or dietary needs, escalating issues to management when appropriate.
• Promote food safety and sanitation practices at all times.
• Assist with special events, tastings, or promotions representing the kitchen team.
• Provide feedback from guests or staff to kitchen leadership to support continuous improvement.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong sense of hospitality and teamwork.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Positive attitude and professional appearance.
