Pay:

$65K – 70K

Schedule:

Monday- Friday 8am- 5pm or 730am – 430pm

Description:

Accountant will play a critical role in managing and coordinating Sales Tax, compliance and reporting functions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Generate Field Service invoices in a timely manner, by review expenses and labor per project.
• Review, audit and key into our ERP System the Field service expenses.
• Reconcile US Bank account and taking the necessary actions, also named Ghost card.
• Prepare Sales Commissions accruals by reading contracts and assure supporting documentation.
• Complete monthly analysis on excess and obsolete part numbers
• Prepares general ledger entries to ensure the General Ledger is accurate and complete.
• Key manual JEs at month end
• Prepare Sales Taxes; Get current Tax-exempt certificates.
• Sales Taxes - Keep in record BL for International shipments with "Ship to" a US State
• Communicate to the Sales tax government offices to assure we are in compliance.
• Update the Entities with the current Sales tax rate.
• Prepare audit information in accordance with Sales tax audit timelines.
• Get W9 and prepare yearly the Tax forms, such as 1099 NEC, MISC, etc
• Assist with month end process and account reconciliations, proposing corrections as needed, ensuring a timely and accurate review of all the assigned accounts.
• Set-up and maintain Entities: Customers & vendors, including ACH information.
• Monthly report with detail of new or changes to Entities -ERP system
• Adhere to established company policies and guidelines

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of sales tax laws and regulations
• Knowledge of general accounting principles
