            <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>IP Phone Provisioning Technician&nbsp;</strong>in <strong>Austin, TX 78723</strong></p><p><strong>Pay:</strong></p><p>$23-24&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p><p>Monday-Friday 8am-5pm</p><p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically inclined <strong>IP Phone Provisioning Technician</strong> to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, programming, testing, and preparing IP telephony devices for deployment prior to shipment. Your work will ensure customers receive fully configured, deployment-ready equipment that provides a seamless installation experience.</p><p>This position is based in a fast-paced wholesale distribution environment where accuracy, quality, and efficiency are essential. In addition to provisioning responsibilities, you will be cross-trained in warehouse operations and assist with order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping, and receiving as business needs require.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>IP Phone Provisioning</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>Provision and configure&nbsp;IP&nbsp;phones based on customer, reseller, and service provider requirements.</li><li>Program SIP credentials, firmware, feature keys, button layouts, VLAN settings, and other device-specific configurations.</li><li>Verify MAC addresses, serial numbers, model information, and customer assignment accuracy.</li><li>Test all configured devices to ensure successful registration, firmware compatibility, and proper functionality before shipment.</li><li>Familiar with configuration templates for multiple manufacturers and hosted PBX platforms.</li><li>Work efficiently to meet same day ship requirements.</li><li>Perform firmware upgrades and validate compatibility with supported hosted voice platforms.</li><li>Develop understanding of&nbsp;provisioning&nbsp;activities, including order management, inventory, and asset tracking systems.</li><li>Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve&nbsp;provisioning&nbsp;or hardware issues prior to shipment.</li><li>Develop understanding of the collaboration with IT to manage and implement&nbsp;provisioning&nbsp;processes.</li><li>Follow established quality assurance procedures to minimize returns and customer support issues.</li><li>Adhere to company security policies and protect customer account credentials and configuration data.</li><li>Assemble customer kits that may include&nbsp;IP&nbsp;phones, headsets, power supplies, cables, accessories, and printed documentation.</li><li>Apply customer-specific asset tags, labels, branding, and packaging requirements.</li></ul><p><strong>Warehouse Operations</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>Become proficient in all warehouse order fulfillment processes, including order picking, packing, shipping, inventory bin replenishment.</li><li>Pick products accurately utilizing RF scanner according to picklist while maintaining inventory integrity.</li><li>Package equipment using company standards to ensure products are protected during transit.</li><li>Prepare shipments using Package Manager module in MAS500 ERP system and follow shipping procedures.</li><li>Verify order accuracy, quantities, serial numbers, and documentation before shipment.</li><li>Support cycle counts, stock replenishment, and inventory audits.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment following company safety policies.</li><li>Provide backup support for warehouse operations during peak order volumes, employee absences, and special projects.</li><li>Cross-train with other operations personnel to ensure continuity across provisioning and fulfillment functions.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p><strong>Required</strong></p><ul type="disc"><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Working knowledge of VoIP, SIP, or&nbsp;IP&nbsp;telephony technologies and hosted PBX and cloud voice solutions.</li><li>Familiarity with&nbsp;IP&nbsp;phone&nbsp;manufacturers such as Yealink, Poly, Cisco, Grandstream, Fanvil, or similar devices.</li><li>Basic understanding of TCP/IP&nbsp;networking, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and network troubleshooting.</li><li>Ability to learn and perform warehouse fulfillment functions, including This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, mechanically inclined, and able to work independently while maintaining a strong commitment to workplace safety.</p>  <p><strong>Essential Responsibilities</strong></p>  <ul>  <li>Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment, machinery, and building systems.</li>  <li>Diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility-related issues and determine the appropriate corrective action.</li>  <li>Read and interpret work orders to identify equipment, diagnose reported issues, and complete repairs efficiently.</li>  <li>Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions with minimal supervision.</li>  <li>Maintain a proactive approach by identifying potential equipment or facility problems before they become major issues.</li>  <li>Complete repairs in a timely manner while minimizing equipment downtime.</li>  <li>Maintain accurate maintenance records by documenting completed work orders, repairs performed, and parts used.</li>  <li>Investigate the root cause of equipment failures and recommend or implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.</li>  <li>Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and company safety policies.</li>  <li>Report unsafe conditions, equipment, or work practices to management immediately.</li>  <li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including cleaning work areas after repairs are completed.</li>  <li>Prioritize work assignments and seek additional tasks when work is completed.</li>  <li>Assist with general facility maintenance as needed.</li>  </ul>  <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>  <ul>  <li>High school diploma or GED required.</li>  <li>Previous industrial maintenance or maintenance mechanic experience preferred.</li>  <li>Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems.</li>  <li>Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation.</li>  <li>Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.</li>  <li>Understanding of direct-drive, belt-driven, and chain-driven equipment.</li>  <li>Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS/SDS).</li>  <li>Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.</li>  <li>Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while maintaining safety standards.</li>  </ul>  <p><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p>  <ul>  <li>Experience performing preventative maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.</li>  <li>Knowledge of electrical distribution systems.</li>  <li>Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other industrial equipment.</li>  <li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.</li>  <li>Excellent organizational and communication skills.</li>  <li>Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests.</li>  </ul>  <p>KeyStaff, Inc Since 2004.
