Warehouse Health and Safety Inspector in Forney, TX

Salary:

$80-87K

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Conduct regular safety inspections of warehouse operations, equipment, storage systems, and materials handling.
• Identify and assess potential hazards, unsafe conditions, or practices and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, HSE).
• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, or near-misses and generate detailed reports with preventive recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, violations, corrective actions, and safety-related incidents.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager and other stakeholders to implement safety improvements.
• Conduct training sessions for warehouse staff on health and safety policies and best practices.
• Monitor the proper use of PPE and safety gear.
• Stay up to date with changes in health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
• Support the development and review of risk assessments, safe systems of work, and emergency procedures.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a warehouse or industrial health and safety role.
• Strong knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to produce clear, concise reports and documentation.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
