KeyStaff is recruiting for a Tool and Die Maker in Garland, TX 75042
Pay:
$24-30/hr

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7am-330pm
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, create, and modify tools, dies, molds, and jigs according to specifications. Utilize blueprints, drawings, and CAD software to ensure precision and accuracy.
- Inspect, repair, and maintain existing tools and dies to ensure they are in optimal working condition. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Operate and set up various machine tools including lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines. Ensure machinery is calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Perform detailed measurements and inspections of finished parts to verify they meet quality standards and specifications. Make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.
- Work closely with engineers, production teams, and other professionals to understand project requirements and resolve any technical challenges. Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of tool designs, modifications, and maintenance activities. Document any changes and ensure all information is up-to-date and accessible.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working with tools and machinery. Ensure a clean and organized workspace to promote a safe working environment.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification or degree in Tool and Die Making, Machining, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of [3] years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with hand tools, measuring instruments, and machining equipment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and machining processes. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Familiarity with CAD software is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to produce high-quality work with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
