2nd Shift TIG Welder in Cedar Park, TX 78641
Pay & Schedule:
- 2nd Shift – Mon-Thurs - 2:30pm-1:00am - $25-26/hr
- Will receive $3.00 premium after completing training on first shift

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality, precision welds that meet industry standards and specifications.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain robotic welding equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Set up and operate laser welding systems, following safety protocols and ensuring high weld quality.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to determine welding requirements and specifications.
- Inspect finished welds for quality, strength, and adherence to project specifications.
- Adjust welding parameters (heat, speed, and intensity) to achieve optimal results and maintain consistent production output.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve welding processes and resolve any issues related to robotic or laser welding.
- Maintain welding equipment and perform regular preventative maintenance to ensure optimal functioning.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist in the training of new employees or apprentices in welding techniques and equipment operation.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in TIG welding, with a strong focus on high-precision work.
- Hands-on experience with robotic welding systems, including setup, programming, and troubleshooting.
- Strong background in laser welding techniques and system operation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
- Solid understanding of material properties and how they interact with different welding techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of welding safety procedures and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welder) are a plus.
Preferred Job Skills:
- Experience with automated welding systems and robotics programming.
- Familiarity with welding process control software and diagnostics.
- Knowledge of additional welding techniques such as MIG or Stick welding.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
