KeyStaff is actively recruiting for a Manufacturing Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) in Mesquite, TX 

Pay:

$40-42/hr 

Schedule:

Monday- Friday 8am-5pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the delivery of high-quality components and materials. Conduct regular supplier audits and assessments to evaluate their quality systems and performance.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes and procedures for incoming materials. Ensure that products meet required specifications and standards through rigorous inspection and testing.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues related to supplier products. Work with suppliers to identify root causes of defects or non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives. Analyze quality metrics and performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Ensure that all supplier quality practices comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies. Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations and standards that may impact supplier quality.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of supplier quality activities, including audit reports, corrective action plans, and quality improvement initiatives. Prepare and present reports on supplier quality performance to management.
• Provide training and support to suppliers on quality standards, processes, and best practices. Assist suppliers in understanding and meeting our quality requirements.
• Work closely with procurement, manufacturing, engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of supplier quality processes into the overall production workflow.
  Job Requirements and Qualifications:
• Must be able to train in China for two months. 
  • Valid American passport
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer or in a similar quality management role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
• Experience with supplier audits, quality inspections, and root cause analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
