Stockroom Clerk in Carrollton, TX 75007

Mon-Fri 6am-430pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Receive, check, and store merchandise in the appropriate locations. Ensure stock is accurately labeled, organized, and accounted for in the inventory system.
• Monitor stock levels and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies. Prepare products for restocking as necessary.
• Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipment or transfer to other departments or locations.
• Ensure the stockroom is clean, orderly, and adheres to company safety protocols.
• Ensure proper stock rotation to avoid expired or obsolete items, using FIFO (First In, First Out) or other inventory control methods.
• Accurately record inventory movements, update stock levels in inventory management systems, and assist with periodic stock counts and audits.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage or defects, and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in fulfilling customer orders, both internal and external, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Prior experience in stockroom, warehouse, or inventory management preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs]).
• Ability to stand, walk, and move around for long periods of time.
• Comfort with using hand trucks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment (if trained).
