Job Summary: 

The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of manufacturing equipment and machinery. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and executing repairs to minimize downtime and enhance production efficiency.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Conduct scheduled and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including machinery, conveyors, pumps, and other production-related systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues; perform necessary repairs or replacements of parts and components to restore equipment to optimal function.
• Regularly inspect equipment for signs of wear, malfunction, or potential issues; identify and address problems before they impact production.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent. Document any recurring issues or patterns.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company standards. Follow established procedures for lockout/tagout and other safety protocols.
• Work closely with production teams to understand equipment needs and resolve issues promptly. Communicate effectively with other maintenance staff and management regarding the status of repairs and equipment performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, performance, and efficiency. Suggest and implement improvements to maintenance practices and procedures.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of spare parts and tools required for maintenance tasks. Place orders as necessary to ensure availability of critical components.

Job Requirements and Qualifications: 

• Must be able to train in China for two months. 
• Valid American passport
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• Minimum of [2] years of experience in maintenance or repair of manufacturing equipment. Experience in a similar industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various environmental conditions (e.g., noisy, dusty, or confined spaces).
