Robotic Weld Technician in Cedar Park, TX 78613

Pay:

$28-33/hr

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 6am–2:30pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Set up and program robotic weld cells for production.
• Load/unload parts and perform inspections for quality and accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of robotic welding equipment.
• Monitor weld quality and adjust parameters or tooling as necessary.
• Collaborate with engineers and maintenance teams to improve welding processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and production targets.
• Document process parameters, maintenance records, and quality checks.
• Train operators or junior technicians on robotic weld equipment and procedures.
• Suggest and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in robotic welding or industrial automation.
• Proficiency with robotic welding systems (FANUC, ABB, Motoman, etc.).
• Understanding of MIG/TIG welding processes.
• Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
