Electronic Component Receiving and Inventory Clerk in Plano, TX 75074

$18-20/hr

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday 6:30 am-5:00 pm

Job Summary:

The Receiving and Inventory Clerk is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory within the warehouse

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Manage the customer inventory before and after the product has gone out to the assembly line
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for quality and quantity against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Record and maintain accurate inventory levels using inventory management systems.
• Organize and store products in designated areas to optimize space and accessibility.
• Prepare items for shipment and ensure proper packaging and labeling.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding discrepancies or damaged goods.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must have experience in receiving components for printed circuit board assembly from a customer and comparing it to the Released BOM (making sure that the correct part has been received, visual inspection of the package for damage, making sure that we have the correct order quantity).
• Must be familiar with Excel and other common Windows programs in order to enter in the received components into the customer’s inventory (an Excel worksheet).
• No heavy lifting. 
• No forklifts.
