Pay: 17/hr

Job Overview:
- As an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Technician, you will play a crucial role in the efficient processing of product returns and exchanges. You will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and troubleshooting returned products to determine the cause of malfunction or defect. Additionally, you will coordinate with various internal teams to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough inspections and diagnostic tests on returned products to identify issues or defects.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot electronic and mechanical components.
- Document findings and maintain accurate records of RMA transactions, including serial numbers, defects, and repair actions taken.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance and Engineering teams to analyze root causes of product failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with customer service representatives to address customer inquiries and provide updates on RMA status.
- Perform repairs, replacements, or upgrades as necessary to restore products to their original functionality.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout the RMA process.
- Continuously monitor and improve RMA processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in electronics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or technical support environment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, software, and testing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
