Quality Inspector of Wire Harnesses in Plano, TX 75074

Pay:

$21-26/hr (DOE)

Schedule:

Monday- Friday 8am-5pm 

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Perform all In-Process Inspections including mechanical assemblies to check for at minimum: lengths, pin crimps, soldering, proper processing, proper material etc. 
• Sorts nonconforming assemblies for rework or disposition.
• Input Defect / Yield data into Quality Database.
• Work under minimal supervision and prioritize work per shipping due dates.
• Inspect solder joints using magnification aides. 
• Foster and maintain professional and productive relationships with other staff and management.
• Perform all Final Inspections.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Valid Permanent Resident or citizen of the United States of America.
• 2 years Quality Control experience in copper cable and harness.
• Mechanical aptitude/dexterity and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Must be able to read and use schematics & engineering prints.
• Basic communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Must be able to distinguish color.
• Must be detail oriented and thorough when performing inspection duties.
• Experienced and knowledgeable in the use of common measuring devices, such as Calipers, Micrometers, Scales, and Tape Measures.
• Current or previous certification of WHMA/IPC-A620 standards
• Knowledge of hand tool calibration
• Knowledge of ESD
• Worked as an assembler in manufacturing cable and harness
• High school diploma or equivalent
