Electronic Components Quality Inspector in Plano, TX 75074
Pay:
$17/hr

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:30am or 8am to 4:30pm or 5pm
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections on products to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of quality inspections, test results, and other relevant documentation.
- Identify and report any non-conformities or defects in products, ensuring that corrective actions are taken in a timely manner.
- Support the implementation of quality control procedures and work closely with production teams to maintain product consistency.
- Conduct visual and functional inspections of electronic components and finished products.
- Verify the accuracy of labels, packaging, and product serial numbers to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits.
- Review and process incoming raw materials, components, and finished goods for quality.
- Communicate with other departments to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Participate in the training of new employees on quality control procedures and standards
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college education preferred).
- Previous experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in an electronic manufacturing environment.
- Basic knowledge of quality control tools and techniques (e.g., inspection gauges, measurement instruments).
- Familiarity with ISO standards, industry regulations, and quality assurance practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or issues.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with other teams.
- Proficiency in basic computer software (MS Office, Excel).
- Experience with electronic components and products.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems (QMS).
- Certification in quality control or a related field (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001).
