KeyStaff is recruiting for a Quality Assurance Specialist in Garland, TX 75042
Pay:
$18-22/hr

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7am-330pm
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain bubble drawings and AS9102 FAI reports
- Create and maintain Certificate of Conformance
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform rigorous testing and inspection of products, services, and processes to identify defects, inconsistencies, or areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of quality tests, inspections, and audits, and prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Assist with regulatory audits and inspections as needed.
- Identify root causes of quality issues and collaborate with relevant departments to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Analyze quality data and trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance overall product and service quality.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards, processes, and best practices to foster a culture of quality within the organization.
- Review and address customer feedback and complaints related to product quality, working to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills
- Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory standards (AS9100, ISO9001)
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO) are a plus.
- Proven experience in quality assurance or a similar role, preferably within [industry or sector].
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical data and quality standards.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001), industry regulations, and testing methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
