Manufacturing Corporate Tax Accountant in Forney, TX

Salary:

$85-100K

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations, minimizing tax liabilities, and supporting strategic tax planning initiatives.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file accurate corporate income tax returns and related filings in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions (ASC 740/IFRS) and financial statement disclosures.
• Analyze financial data to determine tax implications and support the development of effective tax strategies.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess the impact on the business.
• Collaborate with external auditors, tax authorities, and consultants as needed.
• Support tax planning initiatives to optimize the company’s tax position and reduce risk.
• Reconcile tax accounts and ensure accurate tax general ledger entries.
• Assist in responding to tax audits and managing documentation requirements.
• Maintain and organize records of tax filings, correspondence, and compliance documentation.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and implement best practices in corporate tax accounting.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• 2–5 years of corporate tax experience in public accounting, corporate environment, or manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of corporate tax laws and principles.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
