Flight Director Instrument Repair Technician in Carrollton, TX 75006

Pay:

$33/hr

Schedule:

Monday- Friday 8am-5pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Troubleshooting both mechanical and electronic and repairing various aviation instruments, focusing on gyros, altimeters, and flight directors 
• Perform inspections and functional tests on instruments to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications
• Worth with engineers and other technicians to address issues and ensure safe operations of instruments
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services preformed
• Stay current with industry standards and best practices related to avionics repair 

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in repairing gyros, altimeters, and flight director systems in aviation
• Certification or training in avionics or aircraft instrument repair (preferred) 
• Strong knowledge of avionics systems, electrical circuits, and troubleshooting techniques
• Attention to detail and commitment to high- quality standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
