Job Description
KeyStaff is recruiting for a Manufacturing Technician III in Austin, TX 78753
Pay:
$30/hr

Fri, Sat, Sun- 3pm-3am
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide first line technical and operational support to engineers / operators during the design and set up of manufacturing processes.
- Support may include prototype / productions manufacturing coordination, equipment assembly and/or installation and rework as required.
- Assists in the development of layouts/floor plans, routings and work instructions. Test and troubleshoot equipment while documenting procedures with the goal of process improvement.
- Ensure proper manufacturing documentation is established and current, collaborating with engineering in developing manufacturing friendly designs and helping to ensure designs are compatible with current manufacturing capabilities.
- Assist with root cause and correction action for field issues (TTP’s).
- Complete MCO’s / ECT in Agile as required.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Able to diagnose and troubleshoot any electrical / mechanical issues in production environment.
- Proven skill with data analysis tools such as Excel to disposition productions, characterization and qualification data.
- Able to multi-task efficiently and accurately and follow a production or NPI development schedule to complete deliverables on time.
- Demonstrate safe work practices ensuring safety of personnel and operational safety of equipment including, but not limited to lockout / tag out, safe handling of chemicals, emergency response procedures.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in manufacturing environment with exposure to manufacturing processes.
Job Language Skills:
- Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
Job Computer Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
