KeyStaff is actively recruiting for a Manufacturing Production Manager in Mesquite, TX
Pay:
$38-42
Schedule:
Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee production schedules to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing of products. Monitor and adjust production processes to meet changing demands and address any issues that arise.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of production staff. Foster a positive work environment, conduct performance reviews, and provide training and support to enhance team performance and productivity.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations. Address quality issues promptly and work with the team to implement corrective actions.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety audits and training to minimize workplace hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions. Develop and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
- Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure the availability of raw materials and components. Monitor stock levels and manage inventory to minimize disruptions to production.
- Prepare and present regular production reports, including performance metrics, production goals, and any issues affecting production. Provide recommendations for improvements based on data analysis.
- Work closely with other departments, including engineering, maintenance, and supply chain, to ensure alignment of production activities with company goals and objectives.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must be able to train in China for two months.
- Valid American passport
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred.)
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Proficiency in manufacturing software and systems, including ERP systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and address production issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
