KeyStaff is recruiting for a Manufacturing Electrician in Mesquite, TX
Pay Rate:
$23-25/hr
Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Electrician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment within our manufacturing facility. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will ensure all electrical systems operate smoothly, supporting our production goals and maintaining a safe working environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including motors, controls, and lighting.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement corrective measures to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and upgrades on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Install, wire, and configure new electrical systems and equipment according to specifications and codes.
- Ensure all installations meet safety standards and operational requirements.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and safety inspections.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Work closely with production teams to identify and address electrical issues impacting manufacturing processes.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to support project initiatives and improvements.
- Document all electrical work performed, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts used.
- Report any safety hazards or potential issues to management immediately.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must be able to train in China for two months.
- Valid American passport
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship or technical school in electrical work preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience as an electrician in a manufacturing environment.
- Valid electrician’s license or certification as required by state/local regulations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
