Maintenance Technician in San Antonio, TX 78207

Pay: 

$24.00/hr 

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8am -5pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair building systems — HVAC, lighting, plumbing, electrical, roll-up doors, etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment such as CNCs, cranes, forklifts.
• Work directly with contractors — schedule work, review completed projects, and validate invoices.
• Assist with safety programs, including Lockout/Tagout, exit signs, and equipment safety.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies, tracking everything in Excel.
• Use email and spreadsheets to document work and communicate with management.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician (building & equipment).
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Comfortable using computers (Excel, Word, email) to write reports and track work.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Experience working with contractors — reviewing scope, managing timelines, and ensuring quality work.
• Basic understanding of OSHA safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills — able to prioritize and self-manage.
• Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs., work at heights, and work indoors/outdoors
