KeyStaff is hiring for a Building Maintenance Technician Specialist in San Antonio, TX 78207
Pay:
$25/hr

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Building Maintenance Technician Specialist, where you will not only handle hands-on maintenance work but also take on significant coordination and oversight responsibilities. This role is perfect for someone who excels in facility management and thrives in a leadership position, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform and oversee inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance/repair of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
- Ensure timely repairs and maintenance to critical infrastructure and support systems.
- Install, replace, and repair various equipment and fixtures such as flooring, plumbing, lighting, and HVAC systems.
- Manage facility budgets, track expenses, and coordinate with external vendors and contractors for facility-related projects.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, provide training on safety protocols, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Fabricate solutions and customize repairs to address unique facility-related challenges.
- Lead projects from conception to execution, ensuring they are completed within budget and timeline constraints.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in facility management or a related technical field, with a strong foundation in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Extensive knowledge of high and low voltage systems.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills, with the ability to direct and motivate a team.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and commitment to best practices in facility management.
- Certifications in relevant areas such as HVAC, electrical work, or refrigeration are a plus.
- Experience with specific systems such as ammonia refrigeration, CNC lathes and mills, and aerospace ground equipment would be beneficial.
Additional Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other departments and external parties.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
