Pay:

$32-35/hr

Schedule:

Monday- Friday 8am-5pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Source, negotiate, and procure indirect goods and services in alignment with company requirements.
• Develop and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure the best value and service levels.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and industry trends.
• Analyze and compare supplier pricing and terms to achieve cost savings and budget compliance.
• Implement cost reduction strategies and initiatives without compromising quality or service.
• Monitor and report on procurement performance metrics and savings achievements.
• Prepare, review, and manage procurement contracts and agreements, ensuring they meet legal and company standards.
• Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to address contract-related issues and disputes.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for indirect categories, from requisition to order fulfillment.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services, addressing any issues related to order fulfillment or supplier performance.
• Evaluate supplier performance and conduct periodic reviews to ensure adherence to contract terms and service standards.
• Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers effectively and efficiently.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide procurement solutions that support business objectives.
• Work closely with finance, operations, and other departments to align procurement activities with overall company goals.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and mitigate procurement risks, including supply chain disruptions and supplier-related issues.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must be able to train in China for two months. 
• Valid American passport
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPM, CIPS) are a plus.
• Proven experience in indirect procurement or purchasing, preferably in a similar industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
