Forklift Operator in Round Rock, TX 78664

Pay:

20+/hr (DOE)

Schedule:

Monday- Friday 8am-5pm 

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Operates forklift, pallet jack, aerial lift and/or hand truck to move stock or material to or from shipping area or supplier’s vehicle as needed.
• Unpacks, checks, and verifies materials received against packing list and reports discrepancies and/or damaged goods.
• Operates computer to receive materials and query part information.
• Stocks materials in assigned bin location and observes date code requirements  
• Provides general information regarding shipped and/or received materials, inventory, supplies and all materials.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Customer service oriented and experience is required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; experience in operating material handling equipment preferred
• Certification to ride forklift truck preferred
• Must be able to work well in a team
• Ability to read write and to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials
• Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
