CNC Machine Operator in San Antonio, TX 78238
Pay:
- 20-25/hr

Schedule:
- Monday- Friday
- 3rd shift 10:00pm – 6:00am Will Train on 1st shift 6:am -2:30pm
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates a CNC machine without routine supervision
- Performs basic math calculations, including addition and subtraction of decimals
- Interprets basic dimensions on a print
- Utilizes precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gage pins and depth micrometers accurately
- Loads, unloads and inspects parts while maintaining correct dimensions
- Performs other duties as needed and assigned
- Must be able to retain training and work quickly (Fast Learner)
- Mazak is a major plus
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ yrs of CNC experience is a plus
- Experience in Vertical and Horizontal Mills is PREFERRED
- No CNC work experience required, but a major plus
- If no CNC work experience, then a Certificate/License/Diploma in CNC is required
- Strong understanding in blue print reading/geometric tolerancing interpretation
- Intermediate knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on various machines
- Must possess basic math skills including, but not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- CNC programming is a plus
