Schedule:

2^nd shift-Monday-Friday 3:30pm-1:00am

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Set up CNC lathes and mills by installing and aligning tooling, fixtures, and workpieces according to technical specifications and blueprints.
• Load and input CNC programs into machines, verify program settings, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure accurate production.
• Operate CNC lathes and mills to produce parts within tight tolerances. Monitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments to maintain product quality.
• Perform routine inspections and measurements of finished parts using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Ensure parts meet specified dimensions and quality standards.
• Conduct regular maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts. Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of machine setups, production runs, and any maintenance performed. Document any discrepancies or issues encountered during the production process.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery. Ensure a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents and maintain a safe workplace.
• Work closely with engineering and quality control teams to resolve technical issues and optimize manufacturing processes. Provide feedback on tooling and program improvements.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical certification or degree in CNC Machining, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of [3-5] years of experience in CNC lathe and mill setup and operation. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and CNC programming.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machine setup, operation, and maintenance. Proficiency with measuring tools and inspection techniques. Familiarity with G-code and M-code programming is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work accurately under pressure and within tight tolerances.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
