Pay:
$33-34/hr
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automation and control systems to ensure efficient operation and optimal performance. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain automation and control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults in automation and control systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Develop, test, and modify control programs and calibrate instruments to meet system requirements.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for systems, processes, and procedures, including schematics, flowcharts, and operational manuals.
- Work closely with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to optimize system performance and address operational issues.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and participate in projects to enhance automation processes and technologies.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must be able to train in China for two months.
- Valid American passport
- Associate’s degree in Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum [3] years of experience in automation control systems, including hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or similar.
- Strong understanding of electrical and control systems, including instrumentation and wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to automation systems.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISA Certified Automation Professional, PLC programming certifications) are a plus.
