Pay:
$17/hr (plus 10% shift differential)

Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing and troubleshooting a wide variety of electronic components and systems to ensure they meet quality standards. This role requires a solid understanding of electrical circuits, test equipment, and diagnostic tools.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, performance, and safety testing on electronic components, circuit boards, and assembled products.
- Follow detailed test procedures and specifications to ensure all units meet quality and functionality standards.
- Identify faults, inconsistencies, or defects in products and document test results.
- Use diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.) to identify and resolve electronic malfunctions.
- Investigate complex electrical and electronic issues and provide accurate analysis and solutions.
- Calibrate electronic systems and equipment to ensure correct performance in accordance with specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of test procedures, results, and any corrective actions taken.
- Prepare reports detailing test findings, failures, and any recommended changes for quality improvement.
- Work closely with engineers and production teams to understand product specifications and resolve testing issues.
- Provide feedback on product design or manufacturing issues that could impact testing or quality.
- Ensure testing procedures adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe testing environment.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in electronic testing or a similar role (preferred).
- Familiarity with common test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and power supplies.
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, components, and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex electronic systems.
- Attention to detail and high standards for quality control.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., IPC, RoHS) and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds as needed.
- Comfortable working in a lab or production environment.
- Experience with automated testing equipment.
- Knowledge of PCB (Printed Circuit Board) testing and inspection.
- Proficiency in software tools for test data logging and analysis.
