Grill Cook in Austin, TX 78757 *Weekly Pay and Referral Bonus Eligible*

Pay:

$16-17.50/hr

Schedule:

Monday- Sunday 6am-6pm (rotating schedule) 4-5 days per week

Job Summary:

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and hygienic manner, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain efficient kitchen operations and workflow.
• Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management.
• Keep workstations clean and organized, ensuring proper sanitation and cleanliness.
• Assist with menu planning and seasonal specials as needed.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service.
• Participate in training new kitchen staff as required.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school training is a plus.
• Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a café or restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
