Material Handler / Warehouse in Carrollton, TX 75007

Schedule:

M-F 6am-4:30pm

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Load, unload, and move materials and products within the warehouse or facility.

• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery, to transport materials.

• Organize and store materials in appropriate locations, ensuring that inventory is easy to access and in good condition.

• Assist in receiving incoming shipments and verify materials against purchase orders or packing lists.

• Perform regular inventory checks and update stock records in the inventory system.

• Ensure the proper labeling, tagging, and storage of materials to prevent damage and loss.

• Prepare materials for production lines or shipping, ensuring the correct items and quantities are available when needed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.

• Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to ensure efficient material handling and flow.

• Assist with other warehouse or production-related tasks as needed, such as stocking shelves, restocking inventory, or maintaining equipment.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a material handling, warehouse, or logistics role preferred.

• Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.), or willingness to learn.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize materials efficiently.

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds or more) and work in a physically demanding environment.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and updating systems.

• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.

• Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
